Our Delivery Process
We love meeting our neighbors! In order to encourage that we offer product pick-up at repeating farmers markets and direct from our farm freezers always free of charge. Simply enter your zip code and we'll show you what locations are near and what times you can come by to pick up your purchase. Click the "edit" link next to your selected pickup option if you want to change it. If we can save you a drive we've also partnered with Gateway Deliveries to give you a direct-to-your-door option.
Gateway is a local delivery company specializing in restaurant and grocery deliveries to the home. As a result they they are well equipped to handle our frozen products and get them to you quickly and efficiently. Gateway is involved in numerous community outreach programs and share our ideals of making the world a better place by servicing and supporting our neighbors. We are fortunate and proud to call them partners, and we think you'll be thrilled with their service.
The process is easy, if you live or work within our delivery area "Home Delivery" will pop up on your list of options after entering your zip code. Gateway charges us $9.99 per delivery, so that's our flat rate to you no matter how much your order weighs. However if your order totals at least $100 we'll make delivery FREE! We have different delivery schedules so be sure to select which date you would like us to deliver on. You have up until the Tuesday before your delivery date to place your order, the cut-off is midnight. On Wednesdays we Pull, Process, and Pack! Your order will be weighed, your card on file will be charged, and then you product packed into a box with your name on it. On Thursday our Gateway team will come pick up your package, and contact you with a delivery window.
We typically drop product off between 4:00 and 8:00 so people have a chance to get home from work, but your driver will reach out with a more precise time on the day of delivery. Our product comes frozen solid, in a double thick box, and it travels in an insulated compartment. As such it's safe to sit out for several hours if need be. If you'd like your driver to leave it out front just let them know, if you're available to meet them they'll put it directly in your hands!
